Nothing much is going on here lately. Business as usual, I suppose. We are having a low-key weekend, thank God! It seems like we're always busy, so it's nice to do nothing every once in a while. I've been spending much of the weekend grading papers & doing some catchup work around the house. Yesterday I accompanied my friend, Megan, to Orange County to pick up her wedding dress! She is getting married in a few weeks, and we won't be there for the ceremony :-( so, I decided to go with her to pick up the piece de resistance...

I'm heading off to the Santa Monica Farmer's Market here in a bit. I'm looking for some fresh produce to try a few new vegan recipes, including one with kale, brussel sprouts (that's right...I'm going to try them prepared RIGHT this time), and some purple cauliflower. I made a delicious toasted sesame tofu last night...yummy!
